Student seeking admission to the course has to collect prescribed Admission Application Form with Prospectus from the office by payment of Rs 500/- or Rs 600/- (by post) from DAACY, Sambalpur within 30 days of advertisement/ declaration of qualifying examination results.
Candidate fulfilling the eligibility criteria has to fill up the Admission Application Form with below mentioned documents and has to submit at office within the specified date mentioned in the admission application form.
DOCUMENT SHOULD BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM:-
◈ Attested photocopies of HSC, +2, +3 or equivalent Certificate and Mark sheets.
◈ Three recent colour passport size attested photographs (3 nos).
◈ Attested photocopies of caste certificate in case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.
◈ Attested copies of the certificate in case of Sportsman/ Physical handicapped/ green Card Holder/ ExServiceman, if any.
◈ Postage stamps worth Rs 5/- to be affixed on the index card given in the Application Form.
◈ College leaving certificate and Con certificate (original).
◈ Migration certificate (original).
◈ Copy of the Aadhar Card.
◈ Two self addressed envelopes (22 cm x 10 cm)
◈ Original money receipt of Rs 500/- OR Rs 600/- in support of purchase of form and processing fees respectively.
Application of the candidate fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be placed before the Selection Committee. Selection will be done in the basis of merit only. Candidate having higher education will be getting special weight age during the selection. Candidate belonging to Reserve Category, i.e., SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex- Servicemen/ Green Card Holder/ Sports will get preference as per Government rules.
Selected candidates will be intimated by notice through the Notice Board of the Academy as well as by the intimation letter through post regarding the date and time of admission.
Candidates selected for admission has to report at the office with all documents with requisite fees mentioned in this prospectus.
Every candidate has to give an undertaking in a separate sheet at the time of admission to the effect that he/ she will be abide by the rules and regulations of the Dayanand Academy /UUC.

Scholarship:- Scholarship of Rs 12,000/- (As Per the Central Government or State Government norms applicable from time to time) @ Rs 3,000/- per semester will be given to the ST/SC/OBC students having 100% attendance and completed within serviceable age limit and dedication with interest in the field of Yoga or Performing Art.
Instalment:- Admission fees Rs 10000/- has to be paid at the time of admission and If paid in 3 instalment the tuition fees will be Rs 10,000/- per semester. Instalment should be paid before commencement of each semester. Fine will be charged to the defaulter as per college rules.
Examination fees approximately @ Rs 2500/- per semester extra and subject to change/ revision as per the Rules of Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Study Tour:- Study tours of 15 days to be organized preferably during the month of ……… (during 3rd Semester) every year to the leading Yoga Institutes/ Ashrams of our country. It will be a part and parcel for the completion of the course and will be mandatory. The cost will be borne by the students as per the actual and to be intimated before commencement of the tour.
Seminar:- There will be class seminars at least twice in a month. Efforts will be taken to organize National Seminar in the month of November/ December and International Seminar during the month of February/ March for greater expertise of the students with the outer world. Attendances in the national seminars are mandatory. However, if such International seminars is not arranged by the institute, the students are to attend such seminars organized by the other organization for which adequate weight age in attendance will be given to the concerned students.
HOSTEL:-
Hired accommodation will be provided for hostel. Provided, there will be minimum of 10 candidates in each category of men and women separately to stay in the hostel. The academy will manage the hostel in Ashram Life Style with congenial living conditions.
Admission:- The hostel admission fee Rs 2000/-. The annual rent is Rs 15000/- excluding electricity and water charges. Once the border is admitted to the hostel the minimum length of stay is one year and the hostel fee once deposited is non-refundable even if he/ she quits the hostel before one year. Strictly pure vegetarian/ sattwick foods will be served to the students as per actual cost on monthly basis. Rules of the hostel will be circulated to each border separately.
General Rules and Regulation of the Institute:-
The students of DAACY are required to follow the below mentioned Rules & Regulations:
◈ Students are required to wear prescribed uniform inside the campus. Student with objectionable dress will not be allowed to the campus.
◈ The minimum compulsory attendance for students with regard to his/ her eligibility for final examination has been fixed at 75% of the actual number of working days.
◈ Caution Money, if any, will be refunded only after successful completion of the examination.
◈ Candidate leaving the course from the middle of the session due to his/ her personal problem has to pay entire fees against the allotted seat. T.C. will be issued only after deposit of the outstanding fees of the entire course.
◈ Candidate getting admission in late has to deposit the full course fees for the entire course of the two years.
◈ Fine as per rule will be charged from defaulters.
◈ Authority has the right to discharge any student from regular classes/ institute if he/ she will not deposit the institution fees in time or become indiscipline.
◈ Besides, The Management has every right to add or alter any rules for betterment of students from time to time.
◈ Fees once paid to the institute, will not be refunded at any circumstances.
◈ Student not completed the course within two years will have to pay re-admission fees with the fees applicable to the subsequent year.
PRACTICAL:-
There shall be six practical papers each carrying 100 marks. 30 marks in each paper shall be reserved for internal assessment. The internal assessment shall be done on the basis of maintenance of practical records and regularity of attendance, etc. There shall be no writing assignment in practical examinations.
The student shall be require to perform the posture etc. Physically and shall be asked verbal question related to Asanas and Pranayamas etc prescribed in syllabus. The question in the viva voce of practical shall be strictly confined to the technique, the benefit and the contraindications of the prescribed postures etc.
EXAMINATION DURATION AND PERIOD:-
MIY Examination of each theory paper shall be of 3 hours duration. The duration of practical examinations shall be according to requirement. A candidate admitted to the course shall complete the course with in two academic years from the date of admission. Every semester will normally be conducted at a gap of six months.For BPA course examination will in 8 semester . How ever the UUC rules and regulations will be strictly followed.
PERCENTAGE OF MARKS FOR PASS/ DIVISION:-
Necessary division shall be awarded taking into account the total aggregate marks secured in all four Semesters.
